An ode to River Run’s feline clients
We’ve written a bunch about our clients that bark,
The walks that they take, what they do in the park.
Silly and sweet, big or quite small,
It doesn’t matter to us – we love them all!
But it’s not only dogs that we see each day,
And to tell you the truth we like it that way!
A cat is so different from a puppy or hound,
So read on and do give us a chance to expound!
Your silky soft fur, your cute playful ways,
Your friendly meows make us happy for days!
We might know you love tuna, or another special treat,
or you might just prefer to wind your tail around our feet!
Come cuddle into our lap, or just lay in the sun
and enjoy a nice scratch – of course not just one!
A purr you’re at peace, oh to see you content,
it’s fun when you follow us just to see where we went!
Be you shy, outgoing, quite happy, or slightly grumpy,
We know sometimes we care for those whose lives have been kinda bumpy,
Independent in spirit, and clever that’s true,
You’re all special to us and we’re so very fond of you!
