Hi! My name is Pepper. I came to the MCSPCA because my family could no longer take care of me. I am a friendly kitty who likes to be petted.
You’ll see that I have a bit of a wobbly gait. I have a neurological condition that really doesn’t bother me one bit. The doctors did a bunch of tests on me and said there is no need for treatment at this time. I walk around sometimes like I’m a little tipsy-it’s really kind of cute!
I am very mellow and easygoing. I think I’m pretty easy to have around-I don’t ask for much. I love treats and I like to have a comfy and cozy bed or blanket to sleep on. I also love to bask in the sunlight! I’m a couch potato kind of guy.
I would do best in a quiet, adult home. I am about 13 years young.

I am a little bundle of energy. I love to zoom around the room and chase my kitty toys. Hi! My name is Dimitri. I am a 2 year old sweetheart. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was a shy little kitten. I was found as a stray and I didn’t have any experience interacting with humans. I was scared of being touched. Over time, my new human friends at the MCSPCA taught me that being petted feels good and that people are kind and give you treats! Now, I am one of the friendliest and cuddliest kitties at the shelter. I LOVE to be petted and I LOVE to play!
I am a well-rounded and easygoing kitty. I would be happiest living with a kitty friend or two, because I do enjoy playing and curling up for a nap with my feline buddies.

Hi, I’m Doogie! I’m about 2 years old. I used to live with a big family and lots of kids always around, and I was rather shell-shocked when I lost that life. I was very sad but now have new friends at the SPCA and am a happier dog. I love to play, and fetch is my favorite game. I will put the ball right at your feet for another throw, and back away so you can pick it up. I can catch the ball on the fly, too. I am also willing to amuse myself if I have to. Everyone thinks it’s funny when I try to put more than one tennis ball in my mouth. I love the baby pool – it’s a great place to unwind and relax after a good game of fetch. I have been going on outings with my favorite volunteer lately, and am really enjoying getting out of the shelter. I’m a very good boy for her. I am enjoying playing with other dogs at the shelter!

Hi! My name is Lynn Swann. (I was named after a football player). I am polydactyl, which means that I have extra toes and it looks like I’m always wearing mittens! I am about 1 1/2 years young. I came to the MCSPCA after being found as a stray. I was very frightened when I first arrived, and it took me awhile to really settle in and feel comfortable. Now, after making many friends-both human and feline-I am like a new cat! I am friendly, affectionate and lovable too. When you pet me, I purr, make muffins and give you lovey eyes.
I LOVE other cats and I would be the HAPPIEST kitty in the world if I could live with some snuggly and playful feline friends. I love, love, love to play!!! I also love to be cuddled and I really like belly rubs!
