Bilbo Baggins is an absolute sweetheart. Bilbo always looks like he’s winking at you because he only has one eye! What makes him even cuter is his little waggly stub tail! He was born with just a nub of a tail and he wags it when he’s happy (which is anytime you pet him)! Bilbo can be a bit shy at first, but once he is comfortable with you, he is a snuggly lap cat! Bilbo Baggins is 2 years young and would do great in an adult home, with or without other kitties.

Hi! I’m Tara! I’m about 10 months old, and I came to NJ from Puerto Rico. I am very thankful that I was rescued from the streets. I was petrified when I came to the SPCA – there were too many changes in my life and I’d never really been exposed to nice people. I’d be happiest in a quiet home, and I’ve shown that I will bond quickly with my new family. I will greet you happily when you come home, and follow you wherever you go. Captain Sparkey Hook is a true hero! He lost his home during Hurricane Sandy and has been seen wandering up and down Sandy Hook ever since.
Against all odds, Captain Sparkey Hook survived, even though he is FIV+, a senior and front declawed! An indoor FIV+ kitty can lead a completely normal life in quality and duration, but it isn’t safe for a cat with a weaker immune system and no claws to fend for himself outdoors.
Captain Sparkey Hook is a fighter and a survivor! He is now ready and excited to find a real forever home! Captain Sparkey Hook is estimated to be 10 years young. He is a friendly, talkative guy who enjoys sitting in your lap and loves cat treats!

Hi! My name is Frenchie. Everyone says I’m a sweet mushball boy! I was found as a stray and the Good Samaritan who found me brought me to the MCSPCA. Thank goodness he found me and noticed I was in a lot of pain because, as it turns out, I had an extremely painful bladder condition! The doctor says I had a blockage in my urinary tract. If left untreated, the condition could have been fatal. I’m also a lucky boy because Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital was able to provide the corrective surgery in time to save my life. Now, I’m as good as new! To keep my tract on the right track, the doctor recommends that I eat a mostly wet-food diet. That’s fine with me-I love wet food! I also love to nap and sit on the windowsill and watch the world go by.
Everyone says that I’m really friendly and good with everyone. I like children, adults, other cats and dogs too! My friends at the shelter say I’m a really good cuddler too. It’s true-I really enjoy a good snuggle!
I am about 4 years young and I love to play. One of my favorite games is to chase the dog’s leash! My very favorite thing in the world would be to find my forever home. And, if anyone is able to donate to my other furry friends at the MCSPCA, that would be great too! I was told that my surgery was quite expensive, and we need to replenish our “Duchess Fund,” which covers emergency surgeries like mine.
