Charlotte is a 1 1/2-year-old Terrier mix who was found as a stray. She is a little shy initially but then warms up and leans into you for some petting. Charlotte is gentle and calm, and walks pretty nicely on leash. She likes to play ball, and knows “sit”, “stay”, and “come”. Charlotte weighs less than 50 lbs.

Lucy Lu came to the MCSPCA because she was in a home with too many cats for the owner to properly care for. Lucy Lu is friendly and sweet, and she loves people! Lucy is a very easy-going cat who gets along with everyone! She has lived with children and other cats too. Lucy Lu is an ideal family pet! She is about 7 years young.

Maggie is a 10-year-old Boxer who was abandoned by her owner. She is very sweet and loving. Maggie enjoys hanging out at the Adoption Center, greeting everyone. She’s very polite to other dogs and she loves all people!

Booda Belly loves belly rubs! He is a friendly, loving, gentle, wonderful and affectionate lap cat who is great with everyone-cats, kittens, dogs, kids and adults alike. Booda Belly is a mellow, easygoing guy who would be a great pet for any family! Booda Belly is front declawed and is about 9 years young.

Spritzy is a gentle and sweet girl who came to the MCSPCA because her owner’s granddaughter became allergic to cats. Spritzy has beautiful long grey and white fur and she loves to be petted on the sides of her face. She can be shy when she first meets you, but it doesn’t take her long to warm up! Spritzy is about 8 years young. She is a sweetheart and would love to be your pretty princess!

Tank is a 2-year-old Terrier mix who was too active for the granddaughter in his home. Tank is a snugglebug who will lean up against you for affection and pets. He is a gentle boy with treats. He knows “sit”, “stay”, “come”, “down”, “paw” and “heel”. Tank weighs 63 lbs.

Paige is a 6-year-old Terrier mix who was adopted from the MCSPCA a few years ago, but, sadly, was recently returned because her mom became ill and could no longer care for her. She loves people, and is playful and sweet. Paige is well-behaved on outings and in the car. She LOVES to swim. Paige does not want to share her love with other dogs, but she has a lot of love to give to her new forever family!

Little One is our longest resident cat at the MCSPCA. She is about 9 years old and has been living at the shelter for almost 2 years. Little One is affectionate and friendly and she loves to be brushed. She is very sweet and doesn’t ask for much…just a warm bed and an occasional snuggle. She especially loves to be scratched behind her ears and on the sides of her face. Little One loves to take naps and sit beside you. She would be a great reading or TV watching companion. Sadly, she has been overlooked by many potential adopters, who are naturally drawn to the kittens and friendlier kitties. We know that whomever adopts Little One will be a very lucky, and happy, person!

Norman was adopted from the MCSPCA in 2009, but came back in 2013 because his owner moved and couldn’t take him along. Norman is sad and stressed to be back at the shelter. He is wearing a calming collar containing lavender, chamomile and natural pheromones. It has helped him to feel more at ease and relaxed. Norman is a sweet, gentle 6 year old boy and more than anything, he would love to be back in a permanent home. Would you be his special someone?
