Koala Bear is a 5-month-old Shepherd mix puppy who came to us from a shelter in the south. He is learning how to walk on a leash. Koala Bear is shy, but he is very happy when around other dogs. He is very sweet, and will come for pets. Koala Bear accepts a lot of wrapping-up in blankets – everyone seems to think he needs a blankie! Koala Bear is a Couch Potato, a dog who’s willing to hang out with you all day.

For the first time, Squiggy is seeing how great life can be! When Squiggy came to us, he had an extremely painful condition called Entropion, which is a rolling-in of the eyelid. This causes the hair on the surface of the eyelid to rub against the eyeball. In Squiggy’s case, the Entropion was so pronounced that he could barely see. Thankfully, our medical team was able to perform corrective surgery. Essentially, they created new eyes for Squiggy! Now, Squiggy is a completely different cat! Instead of hiding, he walks up to you to ask for pets and rubs against your legs. He walks with his head held high, cuddles with the other cats in his gazebo, and plays with string and toys. Squiggy has had a rough first 2 years of his life and now, he is ready for a new one with you!

G Baby is a beautiful Russian Blue mix. She’s so pretty that she even has a little beauty mark on her face! G Baby is about 7 years young and originally came to the shelter because the owner’s granddaughter became allergic to cats. G Baby is a friendly girl who likes to be petted on her own terms. She would be a great cat for a quiet, adult home or someone looking for an only kitty.

Juanito came to us from a less-than-ideal home. He is a sweet, gentle dog who doesn’t seem to know how to play with toys yet. Juanito is very smart – he knows “sit”, “paw”, “down”, “stay”, and “come”. He is 4 years old and has a gorgeous red brindle coat. Juanito is a Busy Bee, a dog that is naturally playful, curious, and trusting. Give him something to do, and when his job is done, he’ll hang out on the couch with you.

Nugget is an 8-month-old Terrier mix who was found as a stray. She is an energetic puppy who would prefer an active household. Nugget played some with toys and balls, but prefers people.
