Hi, friends! My name is Butterfly and I came to the shelter as a really shy stray dog. As I started to make friends with the shelter staff and volunteers, I came out of my shell and grew into the beautiful Butterfly that I am today!!! I LOVE to play with other dogs! I am so good at adapting my play style to that of whatever dog I’m playing with that I have become the official “helper dog” for my canine friends at the shelter.
My new friends tell me I am a terrier mix who is about 1 1/2 years old, and what that really means is that I am a smart fun loving girl! I know my basic commands like “sit”, “stay”, “come”, and “paw.” If you don’t mind, I will be climbing into your lap to snuggle. I’m a wonderful lap dog!!! I love to take nice long walks, and I also enjoy trips to the beach!!! I really love to take a car ride to just about anywhere and I hope to find a new family who likes to take me along for some outings!
