We’re lucky to live in Monmouth County, don’t you think? We get the beach, the woods, the seasons … life IS good! As the cool weather approaches, we love getting back to lots of outdoor activities. If you’re new to the area or just looking for an alternative to your local park, check out the Monmouth County Park System for some ideas!
One of our favorites is Tatum Park in Middletown. With access from either Holland or Red Hill Roads, there’s more than six miles of trails to explore. For your four-legged friend, there’s opportunity to get muddy, frolic in a stream or two, and chase a variety of wildlife. The meadows are particularly beautiful with the fall foliage. Consider packing a picnic and enjoying the afternoon!
