Kiera is a 2-year-old Shepherd mix who is very sweet and affectionate. She enjoys playing with other dogs. She really loves to be outside, whether running or playing or just lying around. Kiera loves people. She knows “sit”, “down”, and “touch”, and she knows “excuse yourself” – she runs into her crate!

- Very playful, energetic – would be a fabulous running or hiking buddy and would love to be included in outdoor activities
- Sweet and loving, can be shy initially, does best with a gentle touch
- Has lived very well with two dogs in her foster home (one large and the other small-medium), but would do just fine as an only dog with adopters who had time to spend with her. No cats please.
- We are suggesting a home with adults and/or mature gentle teenage kids
- Kiera is very smart and has had a good amount of training – our Behavior Dept. would provide support to local adopters with 2-3 free in-home training sessions and unlimited phone/email support.
