Hi! I’m Merlot and I am a 1 year old terrier mix who is ready to find a home to call my own. I am not your average gal as I am special…I am deaf!!! I was lucky enough to find a special foster family who has experience with deaf dogs and they are teaching me hand signals so I can communicate with them without hearing them. I’m doing great as I have already learned to sit, stay, down, and come just from hand signals!!!
I am an active girl who loves to play, especially with my canine friends. We love to play together and then we often crash together on the couch for some snuggle time. I love my human friends too and often try to climb in their lap and give them kisses!
My foster family often takes me for long walks and hikes in the park; I do love the outdoors. Let’s face it…this earth girl is the perfect package all in one!!!
