Donations directly support training and placement of service dogs for individuals, families and organizations in need. The more money we raise the more shelter dogs we can rescue and place as service dogs!

Merlin’s Kids is a non-profit organization that rescues, rehabilitates, and trains shelter dogs to become service dogs for individuals with special needs, as well as for disease detection. Children and adults with special needs include, but are not limited to, autism, ASDs, PTSD, physical disabilities, developmental delays, and cognitive deficits. Each dog is trained specifically to the needs of the individual. Our health alert dogs screen for cancer, hypoglycemia, diabetes, and seizures. In addition to children, many of our recipients include first responders and war veterans. We rely solely on charitble donations to help families in need. Our goal is to ensure that service dogs are available to everyone regardless of financial circumstance.
