For the first time, Squiggy is seeing how great life can be! When Squiggy came to us, he had an extremely painful condition called Entropion, which is a rolling-in of the eyelid. This causes the hair on the surface of the eyelid to rub against the eyeball. In Squiggy’s case, the Entropion was so pronounced that he could barely see. Thankfully, our medical team was able to perform corrective surgery. Essentially, they created new eyes for Squiggy! Now, Squiggy is a completely different cat! Instead of hiding, he walks up to you to ask for pets and rubs against your legs. He walks with his head held high, cuddles with the other cats in his gazebo, and plays with string and toys. Squiggy has had a rough first 2 years of his life and now, he is ready for a new one with you!
