I am exuberant, yet sweet.  I am an experienced snuggler and I have been known to climb into a lap or two on occasion. I really enjoy car rides to just about anywhere and I am always well-behaved while sitting in the back seat. I often get to go the park, where I love to roll around in the grass or play ball with my human friends. Julito is a 6-month-old puppy who was born on the streets of Puerto Rico and happened to be hit by a car in front of a veterinary office! He was rescued then came to the Monmouth County SPCA to find his forever home. We have no idea what breed(s) Julito is. He may have some German Shepherd genes, but it does not seem that he will be that large. Right now he weighs about 25 pounds and will most likely gain a few more over the next few months. Ok, ok, so your mutt might not appreciate your creative re-writing of classic radio tunes, but otherwise there’s no denying the appeal of our mixed breed furry friends. Whether your domain is dominated by an imperious Chihuahua-Dachshund or a Husky-Shepherd is begging for another round of ball at your house, mutts certainly give us all the joys of pet ownership, but without the sky-high costs that come with purchasing pedigreed purebreds.
